A young story and a promising future

Agaricus is growing in the Brazilian tropical forests, where it has been eaten for many years by the locals. The addition of “Muriill”to its name is due to the fact that William Murrill describes the benefits of the mushroom for the first time in 1947.

Today we know about the extremely high content of polysaccharides in this mushroom. Polysaccharides, especially beta-glucans, are among the most important ingredients of medicinal mushrooms, mainly due to their effect on the human body.
